  • Pioneered MR angiographic imaging, fast imaging, and cardiovascular imaging
  • Developed a new method for imaging veins, micro-hemorrhaging, and iron called Susceptibility Weighted Imaging (SWI)

  • Enhanced the use of iron/neuromelanin imaging as biomarkers of Parkinson’s disease
