Fellows are exposed to clinical and translational research experiences, including the design, execution, and reporting of clinical and translational investigation, as well as scientific writing through various resources (select examples below):

Educational Courses and Lectures:

  • Introductory Courses in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of Michigan
  • Lectures on biostatistics, perinatal epidemiology, perinatal research, and bioinformatics/data analysis
  • Course in next generation sequencing
  • Hands-on Course on molecular biology techniques
  • Eunice Kennedy Shriver NICHD Annual Young Investigator’s Conference on Maternal-Fetal-Neonatal-Reproductive Medicine

Other Scholarly Activities:

  • Oral or poster presentations of scientific work at local/national meetings and conferences
  • Attendance at the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine and other scientific meetings, both national and international
